Aurora is here.
Well, very long story short, after 22 hours. Anyhow, we’re all more or less in one piece, more updates, including pics, to follow once we’ve gotten some sleep. 7 lbs. 5 oz. at 1:26 AM Aug 15 for those of you keeping score.

Ohmygosh, you three deserve a Gold Medal–that’s truly an endurance team effort. Ditto Marci’s message, and tell Aurora “Welcome to the world” for us.

Thanks all, good to hear from you. Right now we’re pretty content to get some sleep and convalesce a bit, but it is pretty cool so far.

Wow! How amazing. Try to get some sleep in the hospital. Brian and I will try to come by for a visit on Saturday.

Although I’d sooner cut off my nads and join a monastery than have one of my own, I can’t help but feel that the world just got a little less sucky. Of course I’d be just as proud if she turned out to be the anti-Christ.

Heh heh, we’re still waiting to make the call on that count. I will say this, I’m strongly considering recording one of her more gusto-filled mini burp noises and making it a ring tone. It’s pretty seriously hilarious.
